いつもと異なる雰囲気で、クリスマスの歌をみんなで歌いました。
クリスマス気分を高めて、英語で歌うのも楽しかったです。

Our December chat brought the festive
spirit to life with the theme of Christmas. Instead of the usual presentation,
we shared a heartwarming moment singing Christmas songs together. Classics like
Jingle Bells and Silent Night filled the air, and we ended with John Lennon's
Happy Christmas (War Is Over), a particularly moving choice this year as we
reflected on the impact of ongoing conflicts around the world. The songs set a
thoughtful and joyful tone, reminding us of the universal desire for peace and
hope during this special season.
Afterward, we gathered in smaller groups to share our personal Christmas experiences. Many participants, having lived abroad, shared stories from countries like the United States, France, and Germany, giving us a glimpse of diverse holiday traditions. I contributed my own memories of Christmas in Brazil, which align with many classic images of the holiday but with one key difference—it takes place in the heat of summer! Snowy Christmas scenes are something we only see on TV. These conversations highlighted the unique ways people celebrate, while also showing how the spirit of togetherness and joy connects us all.
