４月１３日（土）

守谷市出身の大学４年生　長塚氏の２年間にわたる貴重な

カナダ留学のお話をしていただきました。

２年間で、素晴らしい英語力の上達をされ、ネイティブのようなスピーチを

してくださりました。

専攻は観光マーケティング、という事で、カナダの広大な自然を満喫されたようでした。

笑顔が爽やかなスピーチで、皆さん楽しみました。

I studied at Niagara College, Ontario, Canada for two years. I studied Tourism Management Business Development.

In the presentation I gave in April's chat salon, I put several photos of Canada. Canada has a lot of tourism attractions; Canadian Rockies, Quebec city, Toronto, just to name a few.

The first few months in Canada was a big challenge for me. My professors and Canadian classmates speak English really fast for me. Making new friends was another difficult thing for me as I knew nobody first I arrived.

But from these challenges, I learned some lessons. They are "take action" and "be responsible for yourself". In another country (or wherever away from your home), there is no one who cares you like your family. You must take action and take a chance around yourself. You also need to be responsible for result from your actions, otherwise you cannot achieve good result.

Keeping the two in mind and implement in other countries is quite challenging (it is hard even in Japan!). However, these are true ingredients for you to become confident and independent. If you have confidence and independence, you have nothing to be worried about and enjoy everything! I think this is a life-long lesson I learned in Canada.
