10月のChat Salonでは、アメリカから来日中のEmilyさんとそのご家族をお迎えしました！Emilyさんはサロンの長年の友人でもあり、久しぶりの再会を楽しみにしていた参加者も多かったようです。今回も、多くの温かい交流と新しい発見にあふれた素敵な時間となりました。Emilyさんとご家族、そしてご参加くださった皆さま、本当にありがとうございました！

We had a heartwarming session with our long-time friend Emily-san from the U.S., who visited Japan with her family. Emily-san shared a short speech about her life after returning to America, where she followed her passion and opened a second-hand bookstore. Her love for books continues to grow, and during her trip, she explored many bookstores across Japan. Her story reminded us how books can beautifully connect people across cultures and time.
After her talk, the salon came alive with conversation. Participants were divided into tables, and Emily-san and her family each joined a different group. We enjoyed fun, insightful chats about life in Japan, the U.S., and everything in between. It was a joyful exchange filled with laughter and meaningful connections.
To wrap up the day, we had a second round of talks—this time with no set theme. Just spontaneous, relaxed conversations about anything and everything. The casual atmosphere made it easy to connect and share freely. Sometimes, the best moments come when there’s no pressure at all.
